Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy

CDX Gas recognizes the health and safety of its employees to be among the most important obligations of a successful enterprise.  It is CDX’s policy to maintain a work environment that is safe for all employees, consistent with our emphasis on quality and productivity in all our operations.  Protecting the environment is a major responsibility, shared by CDX and our employees.  We intend to conduct our operations in compliance with current environmental regulations and to minimize their impact on land, air, and water natural resources.  Working together as a team, our management and employees strive to become leaders within our industry in regulatory compliance and protecting our employees, the community, the general public, and the environment.

HSE Program

CDX will provide comprehensive employee health and safety programs and environmental stewardship to meet these goals by establishing and maintaining:

  • Healthy, safe  and environmentally sound work procedures and practices.
  • Communications, education, training and enforcement that emphasize individual as well as corporate responsibility for HSE compliance.
  • Operations conducted with respect for the quality of the environment.
  • Industrial hygiene, personal protection, environmental and medical monitoring programs.
  • Audit, analysis, monitoring and review programs to detect, eliminate or proactively control any sources of personal injury, property damage or harmful environmental releases by our operations.
  • Accident, spill and release reporting procedures that provide a means to analyze past experience and provide direction in preventing recurrence.
  • Effective and timely response to incidents involving our facilities, equipment, operations, commodities or materials under our control.
  • Compliance programs that meet or exceed the governmental regulatory requirements of the applicable authority.
  • Cooperation with Federal, State and local governments in addressing environmental issues, and developing cost-effective, scientifically-based solutions to environmental problems.
  • Employee participation that provides effective and meaningful experiences for employees in HSE programs.
  • Management accountability to provide for the safety of their employees and affiliates, by actively participating and supporting the Company’s safety and environmental programs in parity with their other responsibilities.
  • The recognition that no task, job or operation is so important or critical that it cannot be done safely.
